What is Included:
Sherlock utilizes an advance computer similar to your desktop PC inside of a small 4"x 5" box. The 5" HD monitor displays up to 5 "targets" in track. The (1/2) indicator on the demo screen means this is the first target and there is a total of 2 targets in track. Below that is the other target. Up to 5 targets are displayed, but there can be up to 30 targets in track.
Each Police has a "Pseudo" number which is unique to each car. This ID tag lets you determine if a police car is one that you already saw earlier, behind you, or another one. If target count is high (greater than 2) it could indicate a speed trap, an accident, or check point.
The Police can wait until you come around the corner and trigger their radar instantly on you to defeat your radar detector.
Radar Detectors with Laser Detectors DO NOT protect you from Police Laser Tickets.
Sherlock detects the police car (not police radar) to alert you to any and all police speed traps such as Vascar, Pacing, Air Police, and instant on radar ambush.
If you are using the Top Ranked ALP priority laser jammer in California, Illinois, Colorado, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Nebraska, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Tennessee, Virginia where laser jammers are illegal you can use JTK (Jam to Kill). In most cases this will work but some sharp police officers looking at your car through their high-power binoculors will see the four seconds of no reading, the distinctive hard braking dip of the nose of your car, followed by a speed limit reading and pull you over to see if you have a jammer.
It can be painful having your $4000 ALP laser confiscated and a $500 fine. With the Police Detector you can do a KBJ (Kill before Jam) when the Police Detector sniffs out the trap before you are hit. If you only have front jammers, the Police Detector can guard your "6."
Police often sit in the dark in view of a Stop sign to make sure everybody stops 100% and pulls over slow roll stoppers. Another night tactic is to follow you while looking at their speedometers.
Darkness does not hide them from Sherlock.
"County-Mounties" often come out to the highway to bring in small city ticket income.
Some of these SpeedTraps bring in millions of dollars to local police. Sherlock sniffs out speed traps using timing devices, laser, or radar.
Radar Detectors beep constantly! Burgler alarms, door openers, and cars with radar blind spot detection are the cause.
Sherlock has very few false alarms. If it beeps there are police nearby!
