VERY IMPORTANT for the first time remote is turned on it boots up in cursor mode

The remote has a side button to turn it on or off. The Remote turns on the cursor when it is first turned on. Turn it off by hitting the angled arrow button in the top middle of the remote (see picture). Then leave the remote on. It turns it self off automatically and lasts for up to a month on one charge.

If you forget to turn off the cursor you will see the display bounce up and down as you move the remote up and down.

If you see this hold the remote pointed down so the display looks normal then hit the cursor key. This only happens when the remote is first turned on! Keep it charged.

The four buttons are Mute,AutoMute,State Name (Abbreviation ex: FL, TN, NV), and Dim. Sometimes the first button press doesn't register until the remote has "woken-up". It boots up ready to press OK to Dim the display for night driving. The White Dotted Outline shows which button is ready to press. Use the remote's center round button to go left or right on the Menu then hit OK to hit button. Mute turns off sound.

AutoMute turns off sound after a few seconds of constant strong contact with a distinctive "dink" sound followed by two beeps which tells you it was muted and the signal was not lost. Dink and three beeps means the signal was lost The system will start in the state of the USA that you last set it to. For other States press the up/down on key pad or hit the OK key to change the select State of Operation. The screen resets in 10 seconds after a new state is selected. Police Detector Operations

The Most Advance Police Detection Technology ever created

Sherlock utilizes an advance computer similar to your desktop PC inside of a small 4"x 5" box.

The 5" HD monitor displays up to 5 "targets" in track. The (1/5) indicators means this is the first target and there is a total of 5 targets in track. Below that would be the other four targets.

Each Police has a "Pseudo" number which is unique to each car. This ID tag lets you determine if a police car is one that you already saw earlier behind you or another one. If target count is high(greater than 2) it could indicate a speed trap, an accident, or check point.

Trouble Shooting

Make sure USBs are all the way in and antenna connections are tight.

15-0-0- Sample Bottom of Screen Status Numbers

Watch the 0 number on the bottom(A1 mode), if it stays at zero - CHECK CONNECTIONS and turn off Sherlock and restart

The second number displays system errors. It should always be zero. If not- contact Support

The third number measures system reception. It may be non-zero for first 30 seconds but it should stay at zero. If not- contact Support

if a forth number appears - contact Support

If Lock Screen shows after pressing Home/Back to turn off then hit the power button. If a key was accidently hit showing a strange item on the screen hit the Fast Forward button to clear it

Notes: Make sure all USBs are fully inserted. If you still have a problem send a video clip.
